This case study details the design of Space Farm, an educational game and simulation designed to help fifth-graders master complex subjects (Mathematics, Literacy, and Science) through a constructionist, narrative-driven environment. In traditional elementary education, subjects like advanced arithmetic and scientific engineering are often taught in silos, leading to low engagement and a lack of "transfer" to real-world scenarios.
